This high-rise development in the heart of London’s Elephant and Castle district presented the usual city centre logistical demands.
This project consisted of Kawneer’s unitised curtain wall system, incorporating glass, aluminium louvres, specialist laminated glass fins, and light weight ppc rain screens in its unitised production line to provide the complete building envelope. The facade design incorporated brise soleil, and both active and passive whole building ventilation to provide a highly sustainable development.
The project benefited significantly from this modular approach in terms of health and safety, time, cost, and quality control.
